PPO 10/100 - The legal temperature monitoring device.

Proper food storage requires proper temperature control.

For proper food storage the PPO 10/100 plays a decisive role. The European Union, EU, authorities has approved the PPO 10 and PPO 100 temperature monitoring devices for controlling the temperature in your freezers and cold-storage rooms.

The PPO 10/100 not only monitors the temperature but does it store all the information for future use as well as it sends an alarm when the temperature diverge from the preset values.

Legal requirements:

Since January 1st 1997 all freezers within the EU over 10 cubic meters (thirty cubic feet) has to be equipped with temperature monitoring as well as a device for storing of temperature statistics. In addition - all other food storage areas must be monitored two times per day.

Function:

The PPO 10/100 measures the temperature according to a predefined schedule and stores this information in it's memory.

The PPO 10 monitors 1-10 locations while the PPO 100 monitors from 10-100 locations. A temperature display panel can be added for manual temperature monitoring.

Accuracy:

PPO 10/100 is 100% accurate and provides you with all the historic data you need to fulfil existing EU regulations.

Saving energy:

To be on the safe side it is not unusual that temperature is set to low in freezers and cold-storage rooms. With the PPO 10/100 you can adjust temperature to be just right and thereby save big money every year on your energy bill.

Alarm:

If the temperature exceeds the pre-set limit the PPO 10/100 will set off an alarm. If so wanted can this alarm be transmitted as a voice message to a pre programmed receiver using a normal telephone line and an auto dialling system.

Long term storage of data:

All data collected by PPO 10/100 can be downloaded to a PC for permanent storage. All this information can be printed and graphically displayed in an easy to read chart. With this information you will get an easy way to keep control of the working condition of your equipment.
